  This is a place that has shown love and a true meaning of community. People are friendly, caring and loving. The worship was amazing and the message was Bible centered. Small groups are like family.

  So blessed to have found OneLife Church in the Bay Area of Houston! OneLife Church is known for their authentic community that functions like a family. You immediately feel at home due to the genuine people that attend who go out of their way to actually know you rather than a saying a quick "hi and bye".
  
  The building itself has a great design to the inside as its open and bright, has coffee stations (sad but that's really important to me), healthy snacks, and tons of smiling faces. It's such a relaxed space that doesn't look like it's trying "too hard" to fit in...just an authentic place that is more concerned about people then putting on a show.
  
  Having children, it was important for my wife and I to feel that our children were in a safe and clean environment. I love how well OneLife used the space in the Kid's area to create an open concept that is conducive to learning and interacting with other kids and leaders. The rooms are bright and vibrant, the toys were all clean, and I saw multiple stations of hand sanitizers which put our hearts at ease! Our son LOVES his class, he often runs to the door so he can play with his friends!
  
  We really enjoy the worship as the music is a blend of contemporary music and hymn's which are always focused on Christ. If you are familiar with worship music then you can expect songs from Hillsong, Elevation Worship, Bethel, and Jesus Culture.
  
  In regards to the preaching, my wife and I have grown exponentially in our spiritual walk with Christ due to the teaching at OneLife. It's always Christ centered and Bible based, challenges us to focus on God and His promises rather than our circumstances and own abilities. It's dynamic yet very practical, we leave on Sunday's knowing more about God but also how we can apply it to our daily lives. I don't want to go somewhere that just makes me feel good, or even attend a place that I "download" information and unsure how to use it. I want to learn how to apply and live the gospel, OneLife certainly has done that for me.
  
  We also attend a Community Group, which is like a small group that meets weekly throughout the year. About 15-20 people that meet in homes to discuss God's word and how we can become better followers of Christ. My Community Group is like an extended family. They pray for me, celebrate with me when life is good, there for me when I need it the most. What's really amazing is how 75-80% of the church is actively attending a Community Group each week. I think that speaks volumes of how OneLife desires to be a genuine and authentic community that serves one another. On a side note, we've seen people in our Community Group help others move multiple times, provide finances for single-mothers, and even assist a young widow by providing meals, home maintenance, and childcare...such a generous and amazing experience to be a part of.
  
  OneLife has many places to serve, multiple study groups (bible, financial, marriage, etc) and actively seeks to serve needs in the local community. For the first time, my wife and I feel like we are actively engaging people in our community for the glory of God rather then sitting on the sidelines. So thankful for this beautiful church!

  My husband and I visited OneLife church the first Sunday we were in Texas. We knew this was the kind of Gospel-centered community we were hoping to find after moving over 1000 miles from "home." The people were friendly, the worship was passionate, and the teaching was rock-solid Biblical. We joined a community group the first week we showed up and were immediately welcomed by a house full of strangers. Now, 4 years later, we are still here and have grown exponentially in our faith, friendships, and pursuit of the things of God. The people of this church have stood with us through the most exuberant celebrations and most gut-wrenching challenges of our life. I can't imagine life without this extended family.

  We have been at OneLife for several years now and know that this is where God has us. This is a bible based, Jesus loving family that is all about furthering Gods kingdom in the Bayarea of Houston. If you're looking for a place to grow, be challenged and be surrounded by family this is truly the place.

  We have been a part of One Life for over a year. I have never seen a church with so many young men who are deeply committed to the God, family, and community. Because there are so many young families, much time and effort goes into Children's Ministry. It is impressive! The children are well loved and taught.
  In messages and daily life, much is made of Jesus. Jesus is the center of everything....his life, his death, and his resurrection. The messages speak into my heart. The worship gives me opportunity to express my love for God.
  Community is often spoken of at church. We meet weekly in small groups to encourage and challenge each other. This group is my family.
  Simply put, I love this church.
